The Bart Mitzvah party was held the same evening on Reimersholmen in Stockholm in a small eight sided building called Åttingen or "The Octagon".

Saga's mother Sandy and I decided to hold a combined party for our kids and their friends, our family members who came from the States and some of our own friends here in Stockholm. The Party house was small so our guest list had to be a bit limited. We decided that instead of fixed seating we would have a catered buffet and everyone could mix and mingle and sit where they wished. This way all our different guests could get a chance to know each other.

Since Håkan and I work with computer programming and graphics we of course had to have computers at the party. Two portables to be exact - one to be used as a guestbook and the other to show photos of Bevin and Saga in the form of a jukebox that could play Jewish music and show the pictures.
